What to Expect

During your first visit, you’ll sit down with Dr. Merandi for a one-on-one meeting in our comfortable consultation room. Then, we’ll take you on a tour of the office, and bring you to your treatment room for your first appointment. We’ll take the time to answer any questions you may have, and do everything we can to ensure your comfort during your visit!

MEET DR. OLIVIA MERANDI

Dr. Merandi loves small towns and big dreams. Growing up in a rural Texas town taught her that a strong work ethic and genuine compassion can lead to bold aspirations.

The vision to create DownEast Smile Company is a culmination of joining the dental industry as an "outsider," and keeping those same humble roots in each interaction with patients and her team. Having years of experience in life and different careers before pursuing dentistry has given her a unique perspective in how a dental office could look, feel, sound and even smell with an intentionally different approach.

Dr. Merandi has learned that embracing her outsider identity is welcomed as its own brand of authenticity. She is an artist, a designer, a mother, a daughter, a wife, a believer, a dentist, a friend, a plant lover, and certainly a dreamer.
